In to the Woods

Dress, Socks, and Slip: Free People, Hat: Polo Ralph Lauren, Boots: Nine West

Every once in a while, life gets difficult. We feel tied to down to our responsibilities and the stress of others gets put on to our backs. For me and most college students this happens often (well, everyday for me at least). But, between the mountain high piles of homework and daily responsibilities, we have to learn how to breathe and cut the string that attaches us from our struggles. My favorite craving recently has been large dresses that make it seem like we are weightless. This Free People dress is perfect for the moments when all you want to do is twirl like your in a music video and forget all your responsibilities. It is a lightweight fabric makes it easy to feel limitless and free. Its also great for hiding that freshman 5 you might have gained first semester, like me..... Anyways, the detailing of the dress is amazing. The pictures I use don't capture the clever V- neck neckline and the elastic around the upper arms. However, the dress is very see-through so I paired it with a white lace slip from Free People as well which gave it more of a feminine look. I highly recommend the slip to anyone because it is so versatile. On busy days I'll pair it with a large sweater to create a cozy, laid back look. It seriously goes with everything.

Until next time--

  1. First of all you have the cutest clothes ever!! And second I am in LOVE with Free People! I constantly looking online scrolling through there site, sometimes they have great deals on the online clearance! I just bought my formal dress from there and I am super excited to wear it! Have you ever heard of the Bunker in Westport? I know its a little different style than Free People but they have some of the coolest stuff! Have you ever been to Mass Street in Lawrence right by KU? Its a like a street filled with the best shops that are right up your ally! Hope to see you at Lolla!!
